Is your device eSIM compatible?

The list of compatible devices has expanded significantly in Singapore. Please note that this list is specific to devices purchased locally in Singapore (Singapore sets). Devices purchased overseas or imported from other regions may or may not support eSIM functionality, even if listed here. 

Additionally, this list may not be exhaustive, as compatibility can vary based on specific regional variants, hardware configurations, and software updates. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to perform the necessary due diligence to ensure their specific device hardware and software version support eSIM functionality before signing up for a plan. ZYM is not liable for any loss of service, inability to activate, or costs incurred due to device incompatibility.

🛑 Check Before You Buy:

  • Mainland China/Hong Kong Exclusion: Even if listed here, phones/tablets manufactured for the Chinese or Hong Kong markets usually lack eSIM capabilities due to local network laws.

⚠️ Important Reminder for Tablets: Only the “Wi-Fi + Cellular” (or 5G/LTE) versions of these tablets support eSIM. Standard “Wi-Fi Only” models do not have cellular modems.

Apple (iPhones & iPads)

Apple has eliminated physical SIM trays on many modern devices. US iPhones (14 and newer) and global cellular iPad models released in 2024 and later are completely eSIM-only.

  • iPad Air: 11-inch & 13-inch (M4 / M2 models)*, iPad Air (3rd, 4th, and 5th Gen)

    *Note: These newer cellular iPads are completely eSIM-only with no physical SIM tray.
